Yariza Y. Jiménez

Yariza Y. Jiménez officially joined the FFC board of directors in 2022 following more than a decade of supporting FFC’s operations in Panama. Yari has supported Few for Change since its inception with guidance, advice, as well as critical logistical support. Currently, Yari manages the disbursement of funds in Panama to scholarship recipients.  

Yari works as the Program Assistant for the SIT Study Abroad program in Panama where she supported many of the Few for Change directors during their study abroad program. She has worked with SIT since 2005 and as Program Assistant, she provides administrative support and coordinates all program components such as food, transport, and excursions. Yari lives in Panama City but frequently travels to indigenous territories and communities in Panama’s interior with the current SIT Study Abroad groups. Yari studied hotel management and tourism at the Interamerican University of Panama.
