The excitement at Few For Change this fall just doesn't end! While our biggest news is the recent achievement of becoming our own independent 501(c)(3) organization, (check out Brooks’ blog post about this year’s highlights!) we have more great news! To go with our new non-profit, tax-exempt status, we now have a completely revamped website, now with a .org URL! But don’t worry; in case you forget our new web address, our old .com address will redirect here, to the new site.
Thanks to untold hours of work by our volunteers, the new website was revealed just in time for Giving Tuesday. One of our favorite features of the new website is the integration of a donation platform that greatly simplifies the giving process. With the new system, you can peruse the student profiles and choose to donate to a particular student, or opt to give to the General Fund. Monies in the General Fund are distributed among our current students or go towards funding a future student. Whichever option you choose, the process is simple, clear, and headache-free.
We hope you will take a look at the new website and donation platform and tell us your feedback. We want to make sure that the website is serving you, our invaluable and steadfast supporters. So, let us know what you would like to see, and you will help us as we continue to improve our site. Thank you for staying connected, and coming with us on our journey.
In the spirit of thanks, I’d also like to give a huge thank you to board members Tim and Lily, who took time out of their very busy lives to make the website happen! When I say busy, I mean it; Tim is in medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and Lily is in graduate school at MIT! Without the donation of their time and much-needed technical expertise, we’d never be where we are today.
Thank you supporters, thank you volunteers! We hope you like the new www.fewforchange.org!
Happy Holidays,
Amy Lamb
